At TransPay Global, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page provides clear instructions on how to request the deletion of your account and associated data from our platform.
If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please follow the steps outlined below. We will process your request in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our privacy policy.
Important Notice
Before proceeding with account deletion, please be aware that:
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible
- You will lose access to all services, features, and data associated with your account
- Any active transactions, loans, or services may be affected
- You will need to create a new account if you wish to use our services again in the future
- Some data may be retained for legal or regulatory compliance purposes as outlined below
How to Request Account Deletion
To request the deletion of your TransPay Global account and associated data, please follow these steps:
1Log in to Your Account
First, ensure you are logged into your TransPay Global account. If you cannot access your account, you may still proceed with the deletion request using the alternative method below.
2Review Your Account Information
Before requesting deletion, please review your account to ensure you have:
- Downloaded or saved any important data, documents, or transaction history you may need
- Resolved any pending transactions, loans, or services
- Canceled any active subscriptions or recurring payments
- Noted any important account information for your records
3Submit Deletion Request
Send an account deletion request to our support team using one of the following methods:
Method 1: Email Request (Recommended)
Send an email to: contact@transpayglobal.org
Include the following information in your email:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Your full name as registered on the account
- Your registered email address
- Your account username or user ID (if available)
- A clear statement requesting account deletion
- Confirmation that you understand the deletion is permanent
Method 2: Through Account Settings
If you have access to your account, you may also request deletion through your account settings page. Navigate to Settings → Account → Delete Account and follow the on-screen instructions.
4Verification Process
For security purposes, we will verify your identity before processing the deletion request. This may include:
- Email verification to confirm ownership of the account
- Additional identity verification if required for security
- Confirmation of any outstanding obligations or transactions
5Processing Time
Once your request is verified, we will process your account deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete. During this period, your account will be deactivated and you will not be able to access it.
Data That Will Be Deleted
Upon successful account deletion, the following data associated with your TransPay Global account will be permanently deleted:
- Account Information: Your profile, username, email address, and account settings
- Personal Data: Name, contact information, date of birth, and other personal identifiers
- Authentication Data: Passwords, security questions, and authentication tokens
- Transaction History: Records of transactions, payments, and financial activities (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Service Data: Application data, preferences, saved information, and user-generated content
- Communication Records: Messages, support tickets, and correspondence (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Activity Logs: Login history, activity logs, and usage data
- KYC Documents: Identity verification documents and related information (subject to regulatory requirements)
- Preferences and Settings: All customized settings, preferences, and configurations
Data That May Be Retained
In accordance with legal, regulatory, and business requirements, TransPay Global may retain certain data for specified periods even after account deletion:
Legal and Regulatory Compliance
- Financial Records: Transaction records, payment history, and financial data may be retained for up to 7 years as required by financial regulations and tax laws
- KYC/AML Records: Identity verification documents and anti-money laundering records may be retained for up to 5-7 years as required by regulatory authorities
- Legal Disputes: Data related to ongoing or potential legal disputes, claims, or investigations may be retained until resolution
- Fraud Prevention: Information related to fraud prevention, security incidents, or suspicious activities may be retained for security and compliance purposes
Business Operations
- Anonymized Data: Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained for analytics and business improvement purposes
- Service History: Historical service records may be retained in anonymized form for business analytics
Retention Period
Data retained for legal or regulatory purposes will be kept for the minimum period required by applicable laws, typically ranging from 5 to 7 years from the date of account deletion or the last transaction, whichever is later. After this period, all retained data will be permanently deleted.
What Happens After Account Deletion
Once your account deletion is processed:
- You will no longer be able to log in to your account
- All access to TransPay Global services will be terminated
- You will stop receiving emails, notifications, and communications from us (except for legal notices)
- Any active services, subscriptions, or memberships will be canceled
- Outstanding obligations (such as loan repayments) must still be fulfilled as per contractual agreements
- You will need to create a new account if you wish to use our services again in the future
Outstanding Obligations
Please note that account deletion does not relieve you of any outstanding financial obligations or legal responsibilities.
Before requesting account deletion, ensure that:
- All outstanding loans, credit card balances, or financial obligations are settled
- Any pending transactions are completed or canceled
- All fees, charges, and payments are up to date
- You have fulfilled all contractual obligations
If you have outstanding obligations, we may need to retain certain information to manage these obligations, even after account deletion is processed.
Request Data Deletion Without Account Deletion
If you wish to delete specific data without deleting your entire account, you can:
- Update or remove personal information through your account settings
- Delete specific transaction records or data entries where available
